Crimsafe does a fantastic job deterring intruders from breaking in. While its strength is unmatched the key to having a successful deterrent is the installation. Purchasing Crimsafe that will be installed by Securelux will provide you with the best deterrent causing intruders to look elsewhere or spend significant time trying to get through (this is risky!). Crimsafe Doors and windows have a range of colours available as part of the consultation process for your new doors. These are specially powder coated as part of the manufacturing process. DIY painting of existing doors would not be recommended as it would void the warranty. The Crimsafe mesh is always black, this is due to transparency of black mesh being better than other colours.

Your Crimsafe will be installed by our team of highly trained and employed installers. Because there are so many different glasses companies screens on the market, how your Crimsafe will be installed largely depends on the brand of window, there is not just one method for installation and this is one of the greatest variables that can impact your home security. Securelux pride itself on our installation experience with over 40 years experience in installations. If comparing quotes it is important to understand the installation method being used by each company so you can make the best decision for your home security.
Securelux has a microfibre environmentally friendly glove available for purchase as part of your consultation. It is recommended that the customer follows the cleaning and maintenance guide provided with their final invoice. The cleaning process should not require an excessive amount of water. Securelux is conscious that some customers may not have time to follow the cleaning guide and have partnered with professional window cleaners to offer the cleaning as an ongoing service or as a one off for a special occasion.
Crimsafe is installed with unique screws and the driving tools are only available through Crimsafe Licensees like Securelux, unless for extraordinary circumstances (e.g broken glass), it is not recommended for customers to request for the screens to be removed. If required then it is best for Securelux customers to contact Securelux to discuss their options. When buying Crimsafe it is important to consider the reasons why you may want to remove a screen at any time, if it is for cleaning purposes than discuss with your Securelux consultant as it may be beneficial to consider applications in our Safe-S-Cape range.
This mesh is up to 26.5% thicker than most other mesh products in the market that use 0.8mm mesh. This means the Crimsafe range is harder to cut and penetrate which combines well with the installation methods used by Securelux to keep out unwelcome guests, from burglars to bugs.
Crimsafe provides a modern day security screen that is more aesthetically pleasing on the eye than the original diamond grille. This allows for an unobstructed view (see our gallery). Crimsafe and Amplimesh are different products assembled with different material and by using different techniques. Crimsafe uses screw clamp technology where Amplimesh uses a pressure process to clamp the mesh. Crimsafe has tested its product with the University of Queensland to show its strength against a range of alternative products. The other key component to this decision is the installation, installation can vary between products and it is best to discuss this during your respective consultations.

The main two are the configuration of the bifold system and also the space that is available for them to swing. Securelux can install Crimsafe Windows to your existing awning windows, installing Crimsafe to your awning window will allow for airflow and security. The installation is critical to ensure the window does not impact the functionality of the glass awning window. Crimsafe Stacker doors allow for a great security solution to these large openings without compromising on the airflow. Stacker doors if installed incorrectly can be the one of the most vulnerable openings in your home. There are a number of factors to consider when it comes to the installation. There are some stacker doors that require a frame to be created to allow for the doors and securelux can assist with this type of installation as well.
